Tottenham could re-sign Eriksen after contract offer revealed by Athletic – Robinson
Paul Robinson has claimed Christian Eriksen could return to Tottenham after Brentford tabled the midfielder a contract offer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one said the fact the 29-year-old is able to play football again “is a miracle”.
Eriksen is currently a free agent after leaving Inter Milan by mutual consent in December.

According to The Athletic (17 January), Premier League newcomers Brentford have offered the Denmark international a six-month deal with the option of a further year.
The player’s agent, Martin Schoots, revealed earlier this month that a return to England would “feel like coming home”.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs if a return to Spurs to play under previous manager Antonio Conte was plausible, Robinson said:
“It’s a miracle that he is able to play football again. He’s an example to everyone, including myself after the incident in that game.
“It left a mark on memory that will last forever. The strength of character he has shown to get back to a stage where he can play football is incredible.
“Wherever he ends up, it will be an amazing occasion when he plays again, whether that may be.
“Is he going to be the same player? He has got to get his confidence and belief back. Sometimes you shouldn’t go back to a club where you are regarded so highly when you aren‘t at your best.
“I certainly wouldn’t rule out Eriksen returning to Spurs.”

Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest during Denmark’s Euro 2020 fixture against Finland last June.
He is targeting a return to Denmark’s squad for this year’s World Cup.
In other news, Tottenham have been tipped to complete four new signings after Gold update.
