Tottenham could seal ‘£20m+’ naming rights deal – Keith Wyness
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness has backed Tottenham to land a £20million+ per year stadium naming rights deal with DHL.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – insisted Daniel Levy wants £25million per annum to rename the club’s state-of-the-art home.
According to TBR Football (6 December), Tottenham have spoken to German logistics company DHL about a stadium naming rights deal.
Spurs have been trying to land a lucrative agreement for their ground since it opened in 2019 but so far have been unsuccessful.
Man City’s naming rights deal with Etihad Airways is reportedly worth around £15million per year.
Wyness has insisted the London location and multi-use nature of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium means they Spurs are likely to eclipse that figure.
Tottenham chairman Levy wants £25m per year for stadium naming rights, says Wyness
He told Football Insider‘s Insider Track podcast: “DHL have got the budget.
“The number I believe Daniel Levy has been sticking out for is £25million.
“Can he get £15million? I’m sure he’s been offered that. Can he get £20million? Possibly, DHL could get there with bonuses.

“The attraction for DHL is that it’s a multi-use stadium. There’s usage all through the year.
“Being in London is a crucial part of it as well. I think there’d be a deal if they could push their budget to £20million plus bonuses.”
