Tottenham expected XI v Chelsea: Fans favourite suffers heartbreak as trio axed
Mousa Dembele (Central midfield) – Has been back to his midfield monster best in recent months and Tottenham will not be unhappy that he was not named in the Belgium starting XI in their Tuesday night demolition of Saudi Arabia. Likely to return to the side in place of Moussa Sissoko in the second change.
Eric Dier (Central midfield) – The England international has developed into one of Pochettino’s most-trusted lieutenants, and it is easy to see why with his steady Eddie performances. Dier is prone to the odd gaffe, but he is likely to get the nod over Victor Wanyama, who sustained a knock on international duty.
