Tottenham expert drops ‘big’ Ange Postecoglou claim after what he’s spotted
Tottenham will continue to leak goals under Ange Postecoglou.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Spurs defender Alan Hutton has been impressed by how the fans and players have onboarded Postecoglou’s philosophy.
The Lilywhites have yet to lose a Premier League game this season, having won three after drawing their opener with Brentford.
In those outings, Spurs have conceded six goals but scored 11, most recently netting five in Saturday’s (2 September_ 5-2 win over Burnley.
But Postecoglou‘s men have fallen at the first hurdle at their first big chance on winning a trophy, losing to Fulham on penalties in their first Carabao Cup match after drawing 1-1 in normal time.
When asked what he has made of the Australian’s time in London so far, Hutton told Football Insider: “I was a big fan of him when he was at Celtic, as difficult as it is for me to say.

“When he moved down there I always knew they were going to play that way, forward thinking, aggressive, on the front foot. At times they are open but we saw that with Celtic as well. They will score goals but they will concede at times.
“Ange knows it is going to take time but he sees it as a work in progress and he can see that it is working. I think the fans are really buying into it as well which is the main thing so I think they will continue to do well.“
