Tottenham expert issues ‘£30m’ Tanguy Ndombele claim as footage emerges
Napoli will not sign Tottenham flop Tanguy Ndombele on a permanent basis.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
On 19 August, Tottenham confirmed Ndombele had joined Napoli on loan for the 2022-23 season.
On 24 August, footage emerged of the midfielder scoring a thumping strike in a friendly match against Juve Stabia.
However, on his Napoli debut, Ndombele was only afforded 12 minutes at the end of Sunday’s (28 August) game against Fiorentina and was booked in the dying second of the game.
Wenham is convinced Ndombele will flop in Italy and will arrive back at Hotspur Way next summer with his value diminished.
“I saw he scored a thumper against some sort of semi-pro outfit where the defenders moved out of the way,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Then, for the actual fixture at the weekend he was limited to 12 minutes from the bench and sort of did a bit of walking around.
“I can tell you now, there is no chance they will take up the £30million option to buy him.
“He will be palmed back to us next summer with a lower value and we will be back in the same position again.”

Ndomebele made just 13 appearances for Tottenham during the 2021/22 campaign.
He played just seven times under Antonio Conte before being shipped out on loan to Lyon
