Tottenham expert ‘jealous’ of what Pierre-Emerick Aubemayang has done amid ‘biggest prize’ claim
Tottenham deserve to win a trophy during the 2022-23 season due to the club’s performance over the last few seasons.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Tottenham have not won a major trophy since they lifted the League Cup in 2008.

However, in recent years they have come close to winning the League Cup again as well as the Premier League and Champions League.
Wenham firmly believes Spurs deserve to win a trophy after a horrible run of luck.
“We are the only team to finish above a Pep Guardiola team to not win the league,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“We have been very, very unlucky. We got 86 points, we went an entire season unbeaten at home.
“17 wins, two draws, the same number of wins as the Arsenal invincible.
“We were 90 minutes away from winning the biggest prize in club football after not signing a player for two transfer windows.
“Two FA Cup semi-finals, a League Cup final. We have been very, very unlucky to not have won a trophy.
“It is very, very hard to win a major trophy in England. I am jealous of Arsenal and Aubameyang dragging them to two trophies.

“I do hope and pray we end this drought. We deserve it not just for the season we are in but for the last few years.
“We are there or there about and we just need a year when Liverpool and Man City don’t win everything.”
