Tottenham expert lambasts Arsenal after ‘under the radar’ development – ‘you can’t be serious…’
Arsenal fans”have another thing coming” if they think Eddie Nketiah can replace the injured Gabriel Jesus.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Arsenal, like every Premier League side, have recently played a set of friendlies as they gear up for the return of domestic football after the World Cup.

They have been without Jesus in these games after he got injured while playing for B razil in Qatar, with Nketiah stepping in for several of the friendly games.
However, Wenham insists the striker is not up to the task after taking a look at some of the Gunners’ results.
“I just want to point something out because I think it has gone under the radar,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Have you seen Arsenal’s friendly results? They lost 4-2 at their training ground to Watford, a Championship side.
“They then lost 2-0 to the Juventus B-team at the Emirates last week and then they drew 0-0 with Luton Town.
“These results included players like Saka and Martinelli being on the pitch. Ramsdale, Odegaard, Xhaka, they were all playing against a very poor Juventus side and they came up short.
“It’s not a great look ahead of the return of football if you ask me. If they are thinking about Eddie Nketiah to fill the void left by Jesus, you can’t be serious. They have another thing coming.”

As confirmed by Arsenal club media (22 December), Jesus has undergone knee surgery
Arteta confirmed the striker will be out for “some time” and refused to place a timeframe on his return.
