Tottenham expert lambasts Bryan Gil after new social media reveal
Tottenham winger Bryan Gil must stop “moaning” on social media after his loan move to Valencia fell through.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
On deadline day (1 September) Gil, 21, was set to join Valencia on loan but eh move was cancelled at the last minute.
Posting on social media that day, the winger posted an image displaying the words, “Sometimes an old photo makes us value the moments where we were happiest and we didn’t realise.”
Wenham was left fuming after seeing the message.
“Bryan Gil was moaning, he posted some kind of image to show his unhappiness,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I’m sorry, you are our player at the end of the day. I was against him moving to Valencia anyway. They can’t offer him any European football, just bog-standard La Liga games.
“We already know he is good enough to do that. I would rather he went on loan to any club in England rather than him going back to La Liga.
“He’s now moaning about it. We couldn’t get a replacement, you are part of the squad so he has to knuckle down and get on with it.
“If he was so set on leaving he should have had his agent doing more work to get him out.

“We paid good money for him, he’s on a decent salary.
“I don’t think he should be providing commentary on whether he should be moving or not.”
