Tottenham expert shares ‘big’ verdict on Heung-Min Son being axed for West Ham clash
Son Heung-Min will keep his place in the Tottenham starting XI for Wednesday’s (31 August) game against West Ham.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Son, 30, is yet to score for Spurs this season, with fans discussing whether he should be dropped for summer signing Richarlison.

The Brazilian dazzled in Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday (28 August), setting up Harry Kane to score his side’s second.
Despite this, Wenham expects Richarlison won’t get his first start in a Tottenham shirt against West Ham.
“I personally think Conte will stick with Sonny, he usually comes up with a big performance against West Ham,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Conte’s comments after the Forest game were very much backing Sonny despite his slow start to the season. I don’t think he will be dropped.
“I expect Conte to go with the exact same side [from the Forest game] but Romero is going to back so who knows?
“Actually, Michail Antonio could give Romero quite a physical game so maybe we will stick with Sanchez.
“It has been something like nine and a half hours now of Davinson Sanchez being on the pitch and Tottenham not conceding.
“It’s interesting but I think we will go with the exact same team again.”

Tottenham are unbeaten this season, winning three of their Premier League games and registering a draw at Stamford Bridge.
Following the West Ham game, Antonio Conte’s side will face Fulham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday (3 September).
