Tottenham fans: Ange Postecoglou could be sacked after what Carragher said
Tottenham fans believe Ange Postecoglou could face the sack after a frustrating 1-1 draw with Leicester City at the King Power.
Spurs had hoped to get their season off to a quick start as they faced one of the three newly-promoted sides, but limped to a 1-1 draw despite dominating for large periods.
Their opening goal, courtesy of Pedro Porro, was cancelled out by a Jamie Vardy header in the second half as both sides took a point from the clash.
Following the game, Jamie Carragher insisted: “When you’re so dominant in a game, to not come away with three points is criminal considering the opposition.
“It was like a pre-season friendly in the first half, maybe for the first hour. Leicester then get their goal from nowhere and then they’re up and they could’ve won the game.”
This has echoed the thoughts of many supporters in North London who were left raging at the disappointing result.
