Tottenham fans furious at what Thomas Frank was spotted doing vs Bournemouth: ‘Get him gone tonight’
Thomas Frank is facing intense sack claims after what he was seen doing before Tottenham lost 3-2 to Bournemouth on Wednesday.
Tottenham are paying serious consideration to sacking Frank, amid a chaotic week of departures in the Premier League.
Chelsea parted ways with Enzo Maresca last week, due to a fall-out between the Italian and those above him.
And on Monday, Manchester United sacked Ruben Amorim after yet another disappointing draw away at Leeds United.
Tottenham took the lead early on at Bournemouth, but would ultimately fall to Antoine Semenyo‘s stoppage-time winner.

Tottenham fans lambast Thomas Frank as bizarre picture emerges
Tottenham fans might have thought it was going to be a positive night for them when Mathys Tel scored after just five minutes.
The Cherries had not won any of their last 11 consecutive Premier League matches, and surely, Frank‘s team would not be the ones to put an end to that run.
Evanilson and Eli Junior Kroupi‘s quick-fire goals put doubt to that theory, and when Semenyo’s last-gasp winner proved Joao Palhinha‘s stunning bicycle kick meaningless, how could it get worse.
It did, when Frank was bizarrely pictured, by Getty Images photographer Catherine Ivill, drinking from an Arsenal-branded cup before the game.
Tottenham fans exploded when the picture emerged, with one fan simply responding with the phrase: “Get him gone tonight”.
Another questioned the validity of the picture, asking whether the account that posted it was a “parody”, but the picture is legitimate.
One X user was stunned by Frank’s actions, describing it as a “simply unbelievable thing to do.”
What Frank said about the Arsenal cup
One would have to assume that Frank was not aware of what he was doing when he picked up the Arsenal-branded cup – presumably something to do with the fact that the Gunners played there on Saturday.
Still, it is yet another bad look for the Dane, who desperately needs to provide the Tottenham fans with some evidence that he understands the perilous situation his team are in.
Asked about the cup after the game, Frank said: “I definitely did not notice it. It would be completely stupid of me to take it if I knew.
“It’s a little bit sad in football that I need to be asked about it. I would never do something that stupid.”
Unfortunately, for many fans, that will not be enough. While small in the grand scheme of things, it is little moments of carelessness that may well end up costing Frank his job.
