'Laughable', 'Welcome to Spurs' – Tottenham fans rage over star man's worrying injury report

Tottenham fans have turned to social media to react to a report that star defender Danny Rose is set to undergo medical tests after suffering a fresh knee injury.
The club confirmed via their official Twitter account that the 27-year-old was missing from the match day squad for the clash against Swansea as a result of a knee problem, the defender joined by Mousa Dembele on the sidelines.

However, Tottenham correspondent for ESPN, Dan Kilpatrick, revealed via his personal Twitter account that the injury suffered by the England international is on the same knee which was damaged at the start of 2017, a blow which ruled him out for eight months.
The journalist reports that the current injury has been felt by Rose for a while and that he is to undergo medical tests on it, ruling him out of the club’s next two games after the Swansea clash in what will be a severely worrying update for both the club and the fans.

The Tottenham faithful were quick to turn to Twitter to voice their worries, with many suggesting that a new left back will be on the way during the January transfer window as a result.
Here, Football Insider has rounded up a selection of the supporters’ best tweets:

Since recovering from his injury, Rose has gone on to make nine appearances this season, all but one of which have not come in the starting XI.
