
Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Lemar display for France v England

Thomas Lemar completed 90 minutes for France in their victory over England on Tuesday night – and Tottenham fans were highly impressed with his performance on Twitter.
Monaco’s 21-year-old helped the hosts win 3-2 over England in the international friendly, despite Didier Deschamps’ team being down to 10 men for the majority of the second-half.
Spurs forward Harry Kane struck twice for England to continue his good form, but goals from Samuel Umtiti, Djibril Sidibe and Ousmane Dembele meant France secured the win.
Sky Bet have priced Mauricio Pochettino’s side as the favourites to sign Lemar in the summer after his impressive performances last season.
Spurs fans were full of praise for the left winger for his display against England and have urged the club to secure a deal for him.

Lemar made 55 appearances across all competitions for Monaco last season and was one of several breakout stars.
The pacy winger made scored 14 goals and supplied 17 assists in return, helping his team win the Ligue 1 title in the process.
He is now considered an important member of the national side and got his chance to impress in Tuesday’s friendly, where he showed glimpses of his trickery and pace.
Pochettino is expected to add to his squad for next season and fans are convinced that Lemar will help improve the squad.
