Tottenham fans to be ecstatic with what Mikey Moore has just said at Rangers, Thomas Frank cannot ruin him

Mikey Moore has been going from strength to strength in recent weeks during his loan spell with Rangers.

The Tottenham starlet is up at Ibrox on a season-long loan deal, and his performances have started to blossom for the Glasgow giants after a slow start in the early weeks following his move.

Moore scored the third goal for Rangers in their recent 3-1 win over Celtic in the Old Firm derby, and he has helped his loan club fight their way back into the title race under Danny Rohl’s guidance.

The youngster has been making a name for himself north of the border while his parent club continue to struggle, but he has just provided a ray of hope for Spurs fans with his latest statements.

Tottenham fans to lick their lips at world class Mikey Moore ambition

Moore is tipped for a huge future at Tottenham, and there was plenty of interest in his services when the opportunity to seal a loan move for him arose in the summer.

Rangers ultimately won that race, and the hierarchy in North London will be increasingly happy that they opted to send him there, given the way that he is beginning to flourish with the Gers.

Moore was on pre-match press conference duty ahead of his loan side’s trip to take on Aberdeen on Sunday afternoon, another clash which is crucial to their title ambitions.

The Tottenham youngster commented on his ambition to become a world-class player during the interview, as he stated: “If I don’t have that self-belief that I can go and be one of the best players in the world, then what’s the point? That’s what I’ve always wanted to be as a footballer.”

While Moore’s statement will certainly have raised eyebrows, the level of drive and ambition that he showed with his comments will surely have Spurs fans licking their lips.

The winger clearly has the right mentality to progress into a top player, and that is something that can so often prevent talented young stars from ever reaching their true potential.

Moore has a wise head on his shoulders, and Tottenham fans will be hoping that he has the determination to help him reach the very top of the game.

Thomas Frank cannot be tempted by Mikey Moore recall

Football Insider revealed on Saturday that Thomas Frank needs positive results against Aston Villa and West Ham if he is to escape the sack at Tottenham.

Pressure has been heavily mounting on the Dane in recent weeks, and with the Villa clash having already ended in defeat, the walls are rapidly closing in on him.

However, he must avoid the temptation to try and remedy his team’s poor form by recalling Moore from his loan spell.

Frank risks completely ruining the youngster’s future if he does opt to throw him in at the deep end in a truly high-pressure environment, especially considering the discontent that fans have shown towards the team of late.

Young players need to be handled with care and patience if they are to progress effectively, and the best place for Moore right now is away from his parent club.

The option of a recall clearly crossed Tottenham’s mind earlier in the campaign, but it is an eventuality that they simply cannot stretch to this month.
