Tottenham fans will love what Mohammed Kudus has done over the international break

Tottenham fans will be ecstatic with what summer signing Mohammed Kudus has managed to do during the international break.

Kudus completed a move from West Ham United to Spurs back in July, for a fee of around £55million.

The 25-year-old has settled in well at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, scoring one goal and picking up four assists in his first seven Premier League games.

Thomas Frank’s side sit currently third in the table, just two points adrift of league leaders Arsenal.

Mohammed Kudus secures World Cup qualification

Ghana went into their final two World Cup qualification matches over the international break needing four points to confirm their place in North America next summer.

The Black Stars were three points clear of Madagascar ahead of games against Central Africa and Comoros.

Kudus grabbed an assist as Ghana cruised past Central Africa, all but securing their place at the World Cup with a 5-0 win.

Going into their game against Comoros, Otto Addo’s side needed just a single point to ensure qualification.

Despite only requiring a draw, Kudus scored a 47th-minute winner to grab all three points for Ghana and confirm their 2026 World Cup status in style.

Kudus continues his good form

Kudus went into the international break in good form for Tottenham, and supporters will be delighted to hear that he has continued that while away from the Premier League.

The attacker will now be expected to come back from Africa and kick on under Frank, buoyed by his confirmed place at the 2026 World Cup.

In the top five European leagues, Kudus has completed the highest number of take-ons (30) this season, highlighting his brilliant ability on the ball.

Throughout the campaign, the Ghanaian international has often dragged his Spurs side up the pitch and contributed heavily to attacks.

Kudus has started every single Premier League game for Tottenham this season and is quickly becoming one of their most important players.

Spurs fans will be desperate for the former West Ham man to continue his superb start to life in North London, as Frank’s side eye a top-four finish.
