Tottenham get green light to sign Jamie Gittens – sources
Borussia Dortmund will be open to selling Tottenham target Jamie Gittens for the right price next summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The 20-year-old is on the radar of Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea – who have all watched him in action in recent weeks – and the German club are set to give the green light to another big sale.
Gittens has started the 2024-25 campaign in scintillating form for Dortmund, where he has made his first-team breakthrough after joining from Man City in 2020.
He has hit four goals and notched two assists in nine appearances so far this term – despite only starting in five of those outings.
The youngster scored a brace off the bench to spearhead Dortmund’s 3-0 Champions League victory over Club Brugge last month.
Gittens is already an established member of England’s Under-21 side and has scored once in ten appearances for the Young Lions.
Dortmund ready to sell Tottenham target Gittens for big fee
He looks set to become the latest talent off the production line at Dortmund, potentially following the likes of Jadon Sancho, Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland to one of Europe’s top clubs.
The winger is under contract with the Bundesliga side until June 2028 after penning a long-term deal last year (2023).
He has made 67 first-team appearances with Dortmund, notching nine goals and 11 assists.

Gittens, who is a right-footed left winger, is best known for his electric pace and ability to drive from deep with the ball.
Tottenham are likely to have to fend off interest from English rivals to seal a deal for the youngster in 2025.
