Tottenham have ‘another Dele Alli’ in the ranks after transfer development – pundit
Tottenham outcast Harry Winks has suffered a “blow” after an update on a potential move to Everton.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 26-year-old’s future.
On 30 June, journalist Mark Douglas reported Winks would not be signing for Everton after Frank Lampard conducted “extensive due diligence” and passed on making a formal move.

A recruitment source told this site on 30 May that Tottenham have informed the midfielder and his representatives that they will listen to offers for him this summer and are looking for a £20million fee.
Kenny insists Winks’ situation reminds him of Dele Alli’s former situation at Spurs.
“I’m sure Winks will be disappointed,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Sometimes you get all of those links. This was an option for him to get out and play regular football.
“He could have gone and played under Frank Lampard, that might be a little bit of a blow for him.
“To hear that he has done due diligence and decided he’s not good enough, that’s a shame.
“It will be interesting to see what happens. Two years ago he was one of the main men now all of a sudden, a bit like another Dele Alli, he has gone under the radar a little bit.
“It’s been disappointing to see. sometimes you need a move and a fresh start. I’m sure that’s what he will be looking for.”

Winks has only ever played for Spurs, joining the club’s academy in 2002 and making his senior debut in November 2014.
He has gone on to make 203 appearances for the club but he is now unlikely to make any more.
