Tottenham have ‘big problem’ as Oliver Skipp cited – Hutton
Alan Hutton has cited Oliver Skipp’s lack of creativity as part of a “big problem” at Tottenham.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and Aston Villa right-back said the Lilywhites are too heavily reliant on Harry Kane and Heung-min Son to score for them.
Skipp earned his first start of the season in the 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United on Sunday (23 October).

The 22-year-old has made just six appearances for Antonio Conte’s side so far this season.
Pierre-Emile Hjobjerg was not included in the matchday squad for the game against Newcastle with a thigh injury.
As reported by the Daily Mail (25 October), Hjobjerg sat out of Spurs training on Tuesday ahead of the clash with Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday (26 October).
Hutton suggested Conte’s problems run deeper than injuries.
“I thought he would go to that three in midfield to kind of shore things up even though the fans do not seem overly happy with it,” he told Football Insider.

“My one main problem with Tottenham moving forward is that [Rodrigo] Bentancur, Skipp, [Yves] Bissouma there is not much creativity in there. There is not too many goals and I think that’s a big problem.
“They are really heavily reliant on Kane and Son. Of course it is good for Skipp to get back in and playing and show the manager what he is capable of. But I think you need to offer something different to the other boys that are playing and he is very similar.“
