Tottenham fans have urged their board to sell Richarlison this summer after he failed to make an impact in their pre-season friendly against Sydney FC.

Roberto De Zerbi is overseeing an overhaul of the Tottenham squad this summer after they narrowly avoided relegation last season.

He has heavily bolstered their depth in midfield and defence, but is yet to make strides towards improving Spurs' attacking options.

Richarlison has been linked with an exit over the last 12 months, and he recently entered the final year of his contract with the North London outfit.

The Brazilian striker shone at times last season, but has never truly won Spurs fans over during his four years at the club.

Many have taken to social media to call for him to be sold on in the next month after his latest poor showing on their pre-season tour of Oceania.

Richarlison labelled a 'donkey' after disappointing performance vs Sydney

Richarlison missed out on a place in the Brazil World Cup squad after scoring 12 goals in 44 appearances for Spurs last season.

He netted some key goals towards the end of the campaign and helped the club avoid relegation, yet many supporters still want a new striker through the door to start regularly ahead of him in the upcoming season.

The 29-year-old scored last weekend against Auckland FC, but failed to make an impact and failed to have a shot on goal against Sydney on Wednesday morning.

Numerous supporters took to X to blast his performance and urge the club into a sale, with one saying: "Richarlison still being on the team is malpractice. How has he been allowed to play 100 games in the shirt? One of the worst strikers I've seen in my life

While another asked: "HOW IS RICHARLISON STILL AT THIS FOOTBALL CLUB?"

And one also said: "Not entirely sure what any manager sees in Richarlison. First touch poor, hold-up play poor, shooting poor, passing poor. Only thing he does well is his play-acting."

Which clubs are interested in Richarlison?

The 29-year-old has previously insisted that he is focused on staying at Tottenham and does not want to return to Brazil at this point of his career.

Sources have exclusively revealed to Football Insider that Spurs will let Richarlison leave if they sign another striker in the next month.

Juventus have been closely linked with a move for his services in the last few weeks, with a switch possibly set to happen for around £20million.

Fenerbahce have also registered their interest in his services, but he is believed to want to continue playing in a top five European league right now.
