Roberto De Zerbi will hope for one of his Tottenham Hotspur players to step up as alarm bells ring in North London.

Tottenham are currently sitting 18th in the Premier League table after coming from behind at Manchester United with 10 men to draw 1-1.

Rumours are already beginning to swirl over the manager's future, but the owners have shown very little sign of pressing the panic button just yet.

Spurs simply must turn things around in the coming weeks, though, and if the experienced figures can't show the dedictation needed, the academy has plenty of talent available.

Supporters are eager for Luca Williams-Barnett, Tyrese Hall and Callum Olusesi all to be given opportunities, but there could be a new talent emerging.

Tottenham Under-18s claimed an impressive 4-2 win over Fulham in the U18 Premier League Cup on Saturday, 10 October.

Courtney Coffi-Smith already a talent for the future

Armend Muslika netted the opener after just two minutes, but before he could bag his brace from a free-kick, Ollie Boast scored one of his own.

Then, wrapping the game up in style, Courtney Coffi-Smith cut onto his left foot and curled home a beautiful effort for Spurs' fourth of the day.

Very supporters will have heard of Coffi-Smith before this weekend, but many will be crying out for him to be handed a debut within weeks.

It is exactly the kind of determination, passion, skill and fearlessness that De Zerbi needs right now, but only he can put the 16-year-old talent in.

Can Luca Williams-Barnett make a key impact?

Out of all of Tottenham's talents, Williams-Barnett has by far the biggest chance of winning promotion to the first team this season.

However, Bryan King believes that De Zerbi is pushing the 18-year-old midfielder towards the exit door currently, with a lack of minutes so far.

His competition right now would be Mateus Fernandes and Conor Gallagher, and weirdly, the latter is more likely to keep him out of the lineup.

Still, Williams-Barnett has shown more than enough to earn minutes off the bench, and De Zerbi just needs to trust that he's matured enough for senior football.
