Tottenham Hotspur gem Mikey Moore is making a decision on which of six clubs to sign for after talks with FC Koln on Monday, sources have told Football Insider.

Four Bundesliga sides - Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Hamburg are the other three - and Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar have joined English Championship club Middlesbrough in pushing hard for the 18-year-old winger.

Moore spoke to FC Koln on Monday after he returned from Spurs' pre-season tour of Australia.

Bundesliga big guns Dortmund have held talks over a loan deal with the option to buy.

However, Tottenham only want a straight loan move for Moore, as they look to develop their upcoming star with regular game time in a top league before he returns to his parent club.

The youngster is hugely in demand across Europe this summer transfer window after his successful spell at Rangers last season.

Moore picked up 11 goal contributions in 47 matches for the Gers in the 2025-26 campaign as the club finished third in the Scottish Premiership.

Can Middlesbrough realistically sign Mikey Moore this summer?

Despite Middlesbrough’s interest in Moore, it may be tough for Boro to secure a deal for the winger.

Football Insider has already exclusively revealed that Tottenham have rejected a loan bid from Ipswich Town this summer, as they do not want to send him to a club battling relegation.

Therefore, given the other options on the table, it is hard to see why Spurs would greenlight a move to a second-tier side.

However, with Moore likely to play most games at Middlesbrough and with the club aiming to compete for promotion, this could tempt Spurs and the winger to accept a move to the Riverside Stadium.

What other business could Tottenham do this summer?

Football Insider has exclusively revealed that Inter Milan are lining up a move to sign Cristian Romero this summer.

The captain will be allowed to leave Spurs this summer, and a number of clubs are pursuing the centre-back.

Inter are still keen on signing the Argentina international despite the recent arrival of John Stones.

Romero is keen to leave the North London club after a series of poor campaigns in the Premier League, and a move to Serie A appeals to the defender.

Nevertheless, it remains to be seen where Romero will be playing his football during the 2026-27 campaign in what has been a tough few years in the star’s career.
