Tottenham insider raves over ‘strapping’ Jaden Williams – he’ll score ‘loads’ next season
Jaden Williams is an “under the radar” Tottenham talent who will score a lot of goals next season.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Williams, 17, scored five goals and registered two assists at Tottenham Under 18s beat Birmingham Under 18s 7-0 on Saturday (19 March).
This took his tally to 13 goals and three assists in 26 outings for the Spurs youth sides this season.
Wenham has tipped big things for the striker next season.
“I was at Hotspur Way for this one, we absolute demolished Birmingham’s Uner 18s,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“It was really good to see Jaden Williams perform. Before that game, he had five goals for the season so he doubled that in one afternoon.
“He has played a bit of an understudy role to Jamie Donley this season.
“He’s a big strapping lad, and he runs himself into the ground every game he plays.
“He has made his Under 23s debut as well. I actually think he has gone under the radar.
“We have so many strikers at that level, he might be one people are unaware of.
“I expect his stock to rise significantly in the next 12 months. I think he will lead the line for our Under 18s next year.
“I also expect he will score loads of goals once he is given that chance.”

Williams reached double figures in goals and assists for Spurs’ Under 16s last season.
As per Tottenham’s website, he has been at the club since he was six years old.
In other news, Tottenham have ‘every chance’ of signing a ‘brilliant’ Serie A star after a development on Monday.
