Tottenham insider: Two ‘abysmal’ Man United players to be targeted tomorrow

Manchester United are “there for the taking” for Tottenham ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash.

That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.

Spurs welcome Man United to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium six days on from their humiliating 5-0 defeat to Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp’s side ran riot at Old Trafford and ran rings around Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw.

Wenham claims Liverpool’s performance shows the Red Devils can be exploited and predicts Harry Kane will target his England teammates.

“I think the atmosphere will be pretty good,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“I feared for the atmosphere if we had lost to Burnley but I think some of the pressure is off now.

“Manchester United is always a big game and a big occasion. Ronaldo and Harry Kane will be on the same pitch.

“If the fans get behind the team we can unsettle Man United. I firmly believe that.

“We saw it on the first day of the season. The 12th man carried us over the line against the reigning champions.

“The players will be desperate to put in a performance with the Sky cameras on.

“Man United will also be looking for a response after an absolutely abysmal performance against Liverpool.

“Defensively, they are a mess. Maguire is nowhere near his best even though he is a great defender.

“Shaw was given the runaround last week as well. If Kane is in the mood, he could have some fun.

“Everyone always says the same about Kane in these big games, it’s his game.”

“They are there for the taking but they have so many options and that worries me.
