Tottenham lining up move to sign perfect Harry Kane ally after source’s reveal – pundit
Alan Hutton has insisted Christian Eriksen’s return to Tottenham would be a major boost for Harry Kane next season.
The former Scotland defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, admitted he could see the 30-year-old making an emotional return to north London after his spell at Brentford.
A recruitment source told Football Insider (17 April) that Tottenham are among the Premier League clubs keeping tabs on Eriksen after his return to England in January.

It is believed the playmaker would be keen on a second spell at Spurs if a deal can be agreed.
Hutton admitted Spurs have missed a player of Eriksen’s calibre and ability for “a long time”.
He insisted the attacking midfielder’s return would be allow Kane to focus on his role as a striker.
Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “Obviously he’s been through a lot at Tottenham.
“His move away didn’t quite work and then everything that’s happened after, it’s been unbelievable to see him come back and hit the level that he has.
“It’s in one of the best leagues and no disrespect to Brentford, they’re not up there challenging. You see the difference that he has made.
“He’s the type of player Spurs have been missing for a long time, that creative midfield number 10. He’s the guy that doesn’t need Harry Kane to drop back in and pick up the ball because he can do it.
“It’s crazy, Kane plays a totally different type of way, trying to drop into those shoes and create things. You don’t really need or want him doing that.

“It leaves Kane and these kinds of guys up front. So there you go, straight away you’ve got a different way of playing.
“He is only 30 and has a lot of football left in his legs. He has proved he’s fit and healthy which is obviously a good thing. It wouldn’t surprise me if they try and tempt him back.”
