Pundit can't believe what is happening at Tottenham amid Nuno talks update
Tottenham should have appointed a new boss long ago and the situation is now becoming “ridiculous.“
That is according to ex-Premier League goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Spurs’ ongoing manager hunt.
This site revealed yesterday that Tottenham are set for talks with Nuno Espirito Santo and managing director Fabio Paratici is pushing hard for him behind the scenes.
The latest from a Spurs source tonight is that the Portugese is being interviewed for the post by club chiefs.
He is the latest in a lengthy list of names linked with the post including Mauricio Pochettino, Antonio Conte, Paulo Fonseca and Gennaro Gattuso.
Spurs have been on the brink of appointing both Conte and Fonseca only for talks to collapse late into negotiations.

Kenny insists that Tottenham have had plenty of time to get their house in order by now and that the situation is fast becoming farcical.
“I’m going for my interview now,” he joked when asked by Football Insider about the North London club’s managerial predicament.
“I don’t know whether the managers that are turning them down are disagreeing with Daniel Levy or whether the Harry Kane situation is putting them off.
“It’s getting closer to the start of pre-season and they haven’t even got a manager.
“Mourinho left before the end of last season so they’ve had plenty of time, it’s not like he’s only just gone. It’s ridiculous.
“I just find it so strange that a club of Tottenham’s stature don’t have a manager or plan in place by now.”
Spurs have been without a permanent boss since Jose Mourinho was dismissed in April.
Ryan Mason took charge for the remainder of the 2020-21 campaign.
