Tottenham may be faced with Richarlison problem after what pundit has seen
Paul Robinson has claimed Tottenham may have a dilemma on their hands when Richarlison returns from the World Cup.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one fears the 25-year-old may want to play as a striker more often as he does with Brazil.
Richarlison starred for Brazil in their opening game of the World Cup against Serbia.
The Spurs star, playing through the middle, scored both of Brazil’s goal.
He is expected to lead the line when his country take on Switzerland on Monday (28 November).
Robinson suggested the top European clubs will be keeping an eye on Richarlison.
“There is still a lot for Richarlison to prove,” he told Football Insider. “He has not really made himself a regular at Spurs yet.
“The thing is, all eyes are on the World Cup. If you perform for your country top clubs will be looking at you. That will be the case with Richarlison if he continues to score throughout the tournament.
“He has only just got to Spurs so I don’t think there’s any worry about him leaving anytime soon.

“If he wants to play as a striker moving forward, as he does with Brazil, then that might because an issue. Spurs bought him as a wide attacker who can fill in for [Harry] Kane if and when needed. If Kane is fit he plays. It is as simple as that.
“Richarlison’s role at Spurs will be as a wide man predominantly.”
