Daniel Levy tipped to sanction Tottenham spending spree after what pundit has ‘seen’ from duo
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will back Antonio Conte in the summer transfer window following the early success of Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski.
That is the view of former White Hart Lane number one Paul Robinson, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the new signings’ “big” impact in north London.
Bentancur and Kulusevski both started and impressed in Tottenham’s 3-2 win over Manchester City on Saturday.

The duo arrived from Juventus last month as Spurs’ only signings of the window.
Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, Dele Alli and Bryan Gil all left the club on loan prior to the deadline.
Robinson suggested Daniel Levy will loosen the purse strings this summer if Bentancur and Kulusevski continue to impress.
“When you look at the players who have left on loan, Ndombele and Lo Celso, the club paid over £100million combined for them,” he told Football Insider.
“That’s not a good return for the club and Levy at all.
“Antonio Conte has been brought in to sort out this squad and Daniel has shown that he is willing to back him.

“Kulusevski looks to be a top player. Fabio Paratici and Conte obviously see something in him. Bentancur is a player I like as well. I think they can make a big difference for Spurs. From what I’ve seen of them so far, I’m impressed.
“These two look like they will be real good additions. Their success should give Levy confidence ahead of the summer. I think he’ll back Conte.”
