Tottenham news: ‘Incredible’ Dejan Kulusevski claim issued after £25m report – pundit
Alan Hutton has hailed Dejan Kulusevski for bringing an added edge to the “incredible” Tottenham attack.
The former Spurs defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 21-year-old could be a bargain for Antonio Conte’s side if they press on with a permanent move.
According to The Guardian (22 March), Tottenham paid €10million (£8.3million) to take Kulusevski on an 18-month loan in the winter window.
The report claims the London side have the option to turn the move into a permanent transfer this summer for €30million (£25million).
Hutton claimed that fee could provide “great value for money”.
“They’ve tried different options during the course of the season,” he told Football Insider‘s Russell Edge.
“Bergwijn has had games, Moura has been in there – but Kulusevski just brings a real calmness to the game. He’s got a different profile to Son and Kane.
“I really like him on the right-hand side with that cultured left foot. He can see a pass, score goals – and he’s very clever. He’s taken the weight off the other two.
“The partnership up there is incredible, and I think he brings something different and something extra to what they already have.
“I think that fee will end up being great value for money. He’s only going to get better working under a world-class coach in Antonio Conte.

“The Spurs fans will be very happy with his performances so far, and if he keeps going in this vein of form – it’ll be a great deal.”
Kulusevski has contributed two goals and four assists in nine Premier League appearances since joining Tottenham in an initial loan deal in January.
