Tottenham news: Pundit issues ‘unbelievable’ Harry Kane verdict after Conte reveal
Paul Robinson has heaped praise on Tottenham striker Harry Kane after Saturday’s win over Leeds United.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one said the “unbelievable” 28-year-old is “back to his best”.
On Saturday, Kane produced a man of the match performance against Leeds United.
The England captain grabbed a goal and an assist in a 4-0 win at Elland Road.
As quoted by Football.London (26 February), Antonio Conte hailed Kane’s performance “incredible” both with and without the ball.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his assessment of the news, Robinson said: “He was unbelievable again.
“He was as good as in the Man City game where it looked like he had something to prove.
“The players around him are helping massively. [Heung-min] Son and [Dejan] Kulusevski have been outstanding. When Spurs play like that they will score goals.
“If you give Kane the ball in dangerous positions like that he will score or create goals. He has been playing in a poor Spurs team for a long time. When he’s in an England shirt surrounded by good quality players he scores goals. When the team plays well and provides Kane with service he will get you goals.

“He is natural goalscorer. He is one of the best goal scorers in the world.
“Man City will be watching now looking at what they could have won. Kane’s hold-up play, his runs and elusivity in the box… He is back to his best.”
