Tottenham news: ‘Toxic’ claim issued after update on Antonio Conte quitting for PSG – pundit
Paris Saint-Germain are “toxic” and there is little chance Antonio Conte will quit Tottenham to become their new manager, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed PSG may find it difficult to find a new manager if they decide to sack Mauricio Pochettino.
The Times’ Gary Jacob reported on Monday (24 April), Conte, 52, is interested in replacing Pochettino at PSG.

The former Spurs boss is set to be sacked by the French club despite clinching the Ligue 1 title at the weekend.
However, he has failed in the Champions League with PSG crashing out to Real Madrid in the round of 16 despite being 2-0 up on aggregate with half an hour of the second leg left.
“I don’t think anyone wants to touch that PSG job, to be honest,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“It’s a toxic dressing room full of superstars who can’t really play together and get over the line in the Champions League.
“You know you’re going to get sacked if you don’t get to the latter stages of the Champions League.
“Conte, for me, will stay at Tottenham. God knows who would want to take that PSG job.”

Conte took over at Tottenham from Nuno Espirito Santo at the beginning of November 2021.
They are in with a chance of qualifying for next season’s Champions League with five games to play, including the visit of Arsenal who currently occupy fourth, two points above Spurs.
