Tottenham ‘plan to accept Yves Bissouma offer’ after ‘crunch talks’
Tottenham are planning to accept offers for Yves Bissouma in the summer transfer window, according to the club’s former scout.
Mick Brown, who also worked as the chief scout at Man United and Blackburn and remains very well-connected at his former clubs, exclusively told Football Insider that the 28-year-old is no longer a part of Ange Postecoglou’s long-term plans.
Instead, Spurs are working on signing a new central midfielder in the window as they look to strengthen the manager’s squad after a disappointing season.
This comes after Football Insider revealed on 3 March that Tottenham will hold “crunch talks” with Bissouma about his place in the squad.
He will have just 12 months remaining on his current contract at Spurs come the summer, and no talks have been held about a new deal as things stand.
As a result, the summer window represents the club’s last chance to raise money from his sale before he will be able to negotiate a deal to leave on a free in 2026.

Yves Bissouma to leave Tottenham as replacement lined up
Bissouma has featured 33 times under Postecoglou this season, starting 21 of those, and has started on the bench in four of their last five games.
Brown, who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, has insisted that work has already begun to identify a replacement for the Mali international.
“I’ve always thought he was a good player,” he told Football Insider.
“He could be a real asset to somebody, but his form has been really up and down at Tottenham.
“I’ve been surprised about how far his levels have dropped since he’s been there.
“That might be because there’s been a lot of disruption going on around him or because he’s being asked to do a job he’s not really suited to.
“I think he’s better playing with the game in front of him in a bit of a deeper role.
“I don’t think he fits in with what Postecoglou is trying to do and he’s not really going to be part of his plans in the long-term.
“They’ve got other options he prefers in that position, and I hear they’re going to look to sign somebody too.
“So I think they’ll be open to offers for him when the window opens and I can see him leaving the club.
“If Bissouma leaves, he’s going to need replacing, and the scouting department are already working on finding that player behind the scenes.“

Everton plot stunning Richarlison deal as Spurs exit on cards
Alongside Bissouma, a number of other Tottenham stars have been heavily linked with moves away from North London this summer, and not least of those is Richarlison.
Brown told Football Insider that Everton are interested in Richarlison and David Moyes is set to speak with his staff about the potential deal.
Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed on 12 March that Richarlison would be open to returning to Everton should the opportunity present itself.
However, the finances involved may make it difficult for the Toffees to pull off a move for the 27-year-old as they also face competition from Saudi Pro League outfits.
