Mousa Dembele- 6: His energy and dynamism was crucial in breaking up the Saints’ attacks from midfield, but got caught out by conceding several fouls, which he ended up getting booked for.
Eric Dier – 7: The England star was a more noticeable figure than usual, finding himself with the ball at his feet more often than one might have expected. Dropping into defence when needed, he carries out his duties as a utility man to near-perfection.
Moussa Sissoko – 5: An almost anonymous outing from the French international, fans would have been screaming at Pochettino to get someone like Erik Lamela on in his place. Offered very little in attack while his defensive contribution was also lacking.
