Tottenham player ratings v Barnsley: Youngster fails to live up to hype

A decent, if unremarkable, performance from the youngster, who showed great graft to reach the ball ahead of the Barnsley defender’s following Trippier’s cross.
It was a different type of performance than what we are used to, with determined running off the ball taking precedence to his impressive skills on it.
However, he did what his team needed of him, and Pochettino should be satisfied with his contribution.
However, all that effort may have worn the youngster out, so the manager might have to deliberate over his side for Saturday’s clash against West Ham.
