A relatively quiet evening for the Belgian, who took on the captain’s armband in the absence of Hugo Lloris.
Barnsley did little to threaten the experienced international, although he would have had his heart in his mouth when he miscued a clearance and sliced the ball over his own net.
He would have been disappointed with himself if he had allowed the Tykes’ forwards to have gotten the better have him, while he also offered a physical presence in the box at the other end of the pitch, but that came to nothing.
