Tottenham player ratings v Barnsley: Youngster fails to live up to hype
Kyle Walker-Peters – 7
A relatively quiet evening for the youngster, who was utilised on the left of the defence, as he was for England in the under-20s World Cup, as opposed to his natural right side.
Barnsley seemed to focus their attacks down the centre of the park, meaning that Walker-Peters was often left marking the opposition without ever getting involved.
However, offered one or two good runs down the left flank, but was unable to capitalise thanks to some dogged Barnsley defending.
All in all, a solid performance from the youngster in just his second outing for the club.
