Tottenham player ratings v Barnsley: Youngster fails to live up to hype

Returning to the starting XI after being left as an unused substitute against Swansea, Dembele once again showed his hard working, no nonsense attitude in the centre of the park.
Barnsley players rarely got the better of the Belgian enforcer, as he broke up play time and again, but offered little going forward – an regular issue with most of Spurs’ central midfielders.
Will be hoping that he gets to start against West Ham, and will likely have been ensuring he did not wear himself out with that in mind.
