Making his first start for the club for six months after his major injury layoff, the 21-year-old acquitted himself well in the centre of the pitch.
Was a positive outlet for Spurs’ attacks, and he was constantly looking to move the ball forward to his team mates.
For a young man who has been out of the game for so long, this was a great confidence building performance against a determined Championship side who could have targeted the young midfielder as a potential weak link.
