Tottenham player ratings v Bournemouth: 25-year-old is nowhere to be seen
COMMENT By Russell Edge
Christian Eriksen’s second half strike was the difference as Tottenham finally picked up their first league win at Wembley over Bournemouth.
The Danish midfielder netted with a low shot just minutes after the half time break as Spurs kept within five points of league leaders Manchester City, while gained two points on second placed Manchester United.
Following defeat to Chelsea and draws against Burnley and Swansea, Mauricio Pochettino’s side were still waiting for their first three points at their temporary home of Wembley, and have finally broken their duck.
It could have been more had the likes of Harry Winks and Harry Kane, who has been in exceptional form this season, netted their chances in front of goal, but the giant frame of Asmir Begovic kept them at bay.
So who shone for Spurs and who was looking a little lacklustre?
Here, Football Insider has analysed and rated each of Spurs’ players from the clash at Wembley, including a replacement who failed to live up to his predecessor’s performances.
