Tottenham player ratings v Man City: Mainstay an awful 4/10, team not good enough

Forwards

Christian Eriksen (Attacking midfielder) – 7: One of Tottenham’s better players going forward. A few key passes and dangerous balls into the box. Took his goal very well with a brilliant long-range finish into the bottom corner, but it was too little too late by then.

Dele Alli (Attacking midfielder) – 4: Another disappointing performance. Should have seen red for an appalling challenge on De Bruyne, who responded by smashing past Lloris for the second goal just moments later.

Son Heung-min (Attacking midfielder) – 6: Had a very quiet game by his high standards, a couple of decent attacking plays, but didn’t really produce anything special.

Harry Kane (Centre-forward) – 6: Came very close to equalising in the first half with a curling effort. Forced an outstanding save from Ederson with a brilliant turn and shot from the edge of the area. Was booked for a nasty tackle on Sterling and was lucky not to have been sent off.
