Tottenham player ratings v Manchester United: Pochettino must sort this star out
Toby Alderweireld – 7
Like most of the Tottenham defence, he looked pretty comfortable for most of the game, with United reluctant to commit too many bodies forward.
He was tasked with dealing with the pace of Marcus Rashford and did so admirably, with the youngster unable to get the better of the experienced centre back.
Still, United did find a way though and it would have been massively disappointing for Alderweireld after he saw his good efforts ultimately result in nothing gained.
