The world must be ending, as Harry Kane has now gone two games without scoring a goal.
However, unlike against Bournemouth over the weekend, the England striker did all he could to net at the Bernabeu, but was denied by some top quality goalkeeping from Keylor Navas.
He was a constant thorn in the side of Real Madrid, not only posing a threat in front of goal but terrorising the flanks with the ball at his feet.
If he had scored, the media would have been lapping his performance up.
Perhaps then, it is best for Spurs he failed to find the net, as the last thing they need is any more interest in their star asset.
