Tottenham prepared to do 'whatever it takes' to offload star trio this summer - expert
Tottenham will do whatever it takes to get rid of players Antonio Conte doesn’t want this summer.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
The Athletic’s Charlie Eccleshare has reported ( 5 May) that Tottenham are willing to accept cut-price transfer fees for Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele and Steven Bergwijn this summer.
Wenham has no issues with Spurs’ reported approach to the summer window.

“This has been something that has been happening since at least last summer,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“For example, we probably could have got more money for SIssoko but we just needed him gone so we took what we could get.
“We aren’t going to make our money back on these players so lets just get them gone and see how much we can bring in.
“I would rather we got rid of the players than hang on for the right deal to sell them.
“We should be doing whatever it takes to get players like Ndombele gone.”
On 9 April a Spurs source told Football Insider that there is no future for Ndombele at the club even if, as expected, Lyon do not trigger the £50million-plus option in his deal.
A recruitment source has also told this site, (14 April) that vILLARREAL are opening talks with Spurs about signing Lo Celso permanently.
