Tottenham senior man close to leaving ‘from what I’m hearing’

Fabio Paratici’s expected departure from Tottenham is another sign of instability at the Premier League club.

That is according to ex-Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, who is starting to be “concerned” about Spurs.

Carlos Raphael Moersen is set to be the next director of football operations at Spurs, whilst Paratici is expected to join Fiorentina.

There has been talk of Spurs agreeing a takeover deal, with executive chairman Daniel Levy also having left the club this season.

Keith Wyness ‘concerned’ for Tottenham

Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – has given his verdict on the latest developments at Spurs.

Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast, Wyness believes constant changes at the club are not helping.

He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “Well, there was Johan Lange, Paratici as well, and then you now have Moersen.

“Now I’m hearing Paratici’s about to leave anyway and move back to Italy with Fiorentina, I think is what I’ve been hearing. It’s a position of flux, and there are too many voices at the moment for me at Spurs.

“I think, you know, that’s what I’m starting to be a little bit concerned about there.”

Tottenham plotting January transfer business

Crystal Palace have agreed a £35million fee with Spurs for Brennan Johnson, with the 24-year-old set to depart north London.

Johnson will now decide whether he wants to move to Selhurst Park, with Brentford, Bournemouth and Ipswich all interested in the 24-year-old.

Man City winger Savinho could join Spurs, and replace Johnson at the club, with Thomas Frank having missed out on signing the Brazilian in the summer transfer window.
