Tottenham star Dele Alli makes admission as to what he wants to improve

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has revealed that he wants to become a faster player.

Despite being just 21-years-old, the former MK Dons man has established himself as a star for both club and country.

Since signing for the club back in 2015, he has gone on to make 104 appearances for the Lilywhites, scoring 35 goals and providing his team mates with a further 25 assists.

Last season saw him net 18 league goals, putting him above the likes of Eden Hazard and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the top scorers’ rankings.

However, he has admitted that he wants to improve on his speed, stating that it would be “cool” if he was as quick as athletics legend Usain Bolt.

When asked what aspect of his game he would want to improve on in an interview with Soccer AM, available on their Youtube channel, the Tottenham star said: “Maybe my pace.

“I’d like to be like really quick.

“That’d be good.”

Since breaking onto the scene, Alli has also become a key member of the England squad, having already made 21 appearances and scored two goals for the Three Lions despite his age.

However the youngster has found himself caught up in the centre of controversy in recent weeks.

He was banned for one international game after being found guilty of making an “unsporting and obscene” gesture by a FIFA disciplinary panel during England’s game against Slovakia.

He was also widely criticised after appearing to dive against Huddersfield is Spurs’ 4-0 win, with the referee showing him a yellow card for simulation.
