Tottenham star Harry Kane is joining only one club after Sky update – ‘I can’t see him going anywhere else’, says pundit

The only club Tottenham main man Harry Kane will be joining this summer is Man United, according to Frank McAvennie.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former West Ham striker can’t see Kane moving anywhere other than United this summer.

The 29-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the end of the season, despite his contract running until 2024.

But, according to Sky Sports (16 March), Spurs are unwilling to sell the striker this summer, even if he doesn’t pen an extension at the club.

United are said to have a “strong interest” in the England international as they search for a striker this summer.

According to the Sun (13 January), Kane is the top earner at Spurs on £200,000-a-week, just on the edge of the recently introduced “Ronaldo rule” at Old Trafford.

Following Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure, United are believed to have introduced a salary cap preventing any player from earning more than £200,000-per-week.

When asked if Kane would be willing to take a pay cut to join United, McAvennie told Football Insider:Not a chance.

He is not going to leave Tottenham for a wage cut. Why would Man United not pay him? They paid Ronaldo.

If Man United want him they have got to pay him. I think he would be a great fit at United. I just do not get it.

Man United

He is happy there but I think he would fit in at United and I can’t see him going anywhere else.

He will not go to Man City, Liverpool, no. He would be decent at Liverpool but they won’t spend that kind of money on him and Bellingham.
