Injury expert names exact Romero return date after ‘massive’ Tottenham reveal
Cristian Romero could get some minutes for Tottenham in the FA Cup clash against Brighton on Saturday of next week (5 February).
That is the view of injury expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in medicine and data analysis.
Romero, 23, has been absent since sustaining a serious hamstring injury while playing for Argentina against Brazil on 16 November.

The centre-back, a £42.5million summer signing from Atalanta, has returned to training this week.
As quoted by The Athletic last Sunday (24 January), Spurs boss Antonio Conte revealed that Romero is “almost 100 per cent fit.”
Dinnery suggested that Romero has an excellent chance of playing a role against Brighton.
“It’s very difficult,” he told Football Insider‘s Adam Williams.
“Long-term hamstring problems are ones that you need to be very careful with.
“It’s going to be two-plus months by the time he returns to the starting line-up.
“He has had quite a lot of time on the training pitches, so I think they will be targeting maybe minutes from the bench in that game against Brighton.
“It’s a massive opportunity. Clubs in these early rounds tend to rotate a lot anyway.
“So it could be mid-February by the time he returns to the starting line-up, but you can’t rule out bringing him back earlier given the demands on the squad.”

Romero has featured 13 times this season but is yet to register a goal or assist for his new club.
Heung-Min Son is the only other current injury absence at Tottenham.
