Forced an impressive save from Fabianski from a free kick in the first half, but other than that he found chances at a premium during the opening 45 minutes.
Despite his impressive goalscoring form, with a double against both Everton last week and Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, he struggled against the Swans.
That was thanks to both the resolute defending from the Welsh side and the impressive form of the man between the sticks, and he was so unlucky to see a late shot drift just wide of the upright.
