Tottenham to announce Callum Olusesi deal after full agreement – sources

Tottenham sensation Callum Olusesi has signed a professional contract with the club on Monday (11 March), sources have told Football Insider.

The midfielder, who turned 17 on Monday, has put pen to paper at Spurs after coming through the club’s youth academy.

Football Insider exclusively revealed on Sunday evening that Olusesi had agreed pro terms with Tottenham and was set to sign imminently.

Olusesi went full-time with Tottenham on a scholarship agreement in July 2023 and has continued his development by impressing at Under-18 level this season.

A well-placed source has told Football Insider that he is seen as a “star in the making” by club chiefs at Spurs.

He is highly regarded in the corridors of power in north London.

Olusesi has made 18 appearances across all competitions so far in the 2023-24 campaign, notching eight goals and four assists.

The London-born ace has played in the Under-18 Premier League and FA Youth Cup – with Spurs losing out in the competition’s quarter-final against Man City.

2007-born Olusesi has also become a regular for England at Under-17 level, scoring two goals in seven caps since making his debut in September 2023.

He primarily plays as a central midfielder, but can also star in a more attacking midfield role and as a centre-forward.

Tottenham

Olusesi could join the likes of Oliver Skipp, Alfie Whiteman, Brandon Austin in playing for Tottenham at senior level after graduating from the club’s youth ranks.

Spurs’ Under-18 side sit third in the Southern section of the Premier League table – behind West Ham and Chelsea.
