Sources: Tottenham to be offered two Man United stars in part-exchange for Kane
Man United are willing to offer two first-team stars in part-exchange for Tottenham goal king Harry Kane, Football Insider can reveal.
The 20-times Premier League champions have been strongly linked with Kane in recent weeks after this site first broke the news he wants to quit Spurs in the upcoming window.
A United source has told Football Insider the club are lining up a bid for the England captain but are unlikely to get close to the £150million valuation Tottenham have placed on their prize asset.
Instead, Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will look to sweeten the deal by offering some of their top stars in part-exchange.
Among those who United could tempt Spurs with are French forward Anthony Martial and West Ham loan sensation Jesse Lingard.
Football Insider revealed on 10th May that the Old Trafford club had stepped up their pursuit of Kane.

United chief scout Jim Lawlor was at Elland Road 10 days ago specifically to watch him in action in Spurs’ 3-1 defeat to Leeds United.
Chelsea are also pushing strongly for Kane, although the bad blood between the London rivals could make an already complicated deal even more complex.
What is certain is that the 27-year-old forward wants a summer transfer even though three years remain on his contract.
Kane is “hell bent” on quitting Spurs this summer and that has been strengthened by recent events including the team’s limp showing in their League Cup final defeat to Man City and the sacking of Jose Mourinho.
United want an A-list centre-forward despite agreeing a new one-year contract last week with Edinson Cavani.
They want Kane, or a striker in that bracket, to lead the line as the club’s coaches believes the likes of Martial, Marcus Rashford and Marcus Greenwood are more effective in wide positions.
