Tottenham told to agree Julian Nagelsmann deal as expert suggests ‘sensational’ twist

Tottenham should go all out to make Julian Nagelsmann their next Tottenham manager in what would be a sensational twist.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs right-back Alan Hutton claimed the former Bayern Munich boss is the perfect profile of manager for the club.

The Lilywhites are still in search of a permanent replacement for Antonio Conte after he was relieved of his duties earlier this year.

Last week (30 May), this site revealed that Luis Enrique, Ruben Amorim and Ange Postecoglou are the top three names in contention for the Spurs managerial vacancy.

Former Bayern Munich boss Nagelsmann had previously ruled himself out of the job but according to The Times (20 May), the German is back in the frame.

When asked what he made of the names on the shortlist, Hutton told Football Insider:Enrique has been a top manager already,

He has dealt with big players in the past and big pressure so it is probably something he could go in and handle.

Is that what he wants I do not know.

The Nagelsmann situation is a bit strange, I did not really understand that.

I still think it is a bit of a mess, if you think about [Fabio] Paratici and stuff.

A team like Tottenham, when they are ready to go and get a manager, just go and get him. You are a big club you should have the backing to be able to do it.

Nagelsmann is the one I would have liked to have seen. He is so young, has dealt with big pressure situations and is very forward thinking, exactly what Tottenham fans want.”

In other news, Leicester City star ‘almost certain’ to move as Tottenham swoop.
